The series has some of the scariest zombies ever to grace television (and film in many cases) I grew up on this series.

I guess maybe I just needed a happy ending while reading this book and was disappointed over and over again. In 121 AD, the great Hadrian rules the mightiest empire the world has ever known. If you thought the Norton was a massive tome, you obviously don’t own The Weird. So what is horror fiction? Stories should be between 1,500 and 3,000 words. Unless you caught the premiere on CHILLER Network, you most likely haven’t seen this one and if you’re looking for something you haven’t seen before, this one is going to be a somewhat pleasing treasure to unearth.

At the instant of our birth, the countdown to oblivion begins as each passing moment brings us closer to death. These stories are very well written, but the content is fairly adult. Pearson’s strip is especially interesting, as it features a kid who finds all sort of tiny, weird creatures and puts them in a box in an attempt to make them do something interesting. Just no predicting what people will like, I guess... I single it out based on the superior quality of its table of contents, and the fact that its success has been parlayed into the current spate of year’s best books.

Dark Run by Mike Brooks is an adventurous tale involving space smugglers. It is hard to describe Goodfellow's writing without sounding over the top or hyperbolic.
